• NEW 2007 - "NFPA & Round Bore & Pneumatic Tie Rod Lock"  Flairline is introducing a line of Pneumatic Rod Locks for both round body and NFPA tie rod cylinders. The application is very common in automotive plants and with machine builders where cylinders are mounted vertically. The lock is controlled separately from the cylinder and holds the piston rod in place should there be a loss of air pressure.  This is particularly useful to protect machinery from damage and during maintenance shutdowns. The line also has a manual release option to move the piston rod when needed. Rod locks are a good value added product to offer customers, and they give you an additional feature in promoting Flairline's OILF and NFPA tie rod cylinders.
